EZcontractPRO Field ("the App") is a mobile application designed for contractors to record client consultations in the field. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
Audio Recordings
The App uses your device's microphone to record audio consultations with your clients. These recordings are:
- Created only when you explicitly tap the "Start Recording" button
- Stored locally on your device until you choose to upload them
- Uploaded to your EZcontractPRO account only when you complete the consultation workflow
- Associated with the client record you select
Important: You are responsible for obtaining consent from clients before recording consultations, in accordance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Account Information
When you log in to the App, we use your EZcontractPRO account credentials to authenticate you. We do not store your password on the device.
Client Data
The App retrieves your client list from your EZcontractPRO account to allow you to associate recordings with specific clients. This data is fetched securely via encrypted HTTPS connections.
How We Use Your Information
- Audio recordings are used solely to document your client consultations and are stored in your EZcontractPRO account for your business use.
- Account credentials are used only to authenticate you and provide access to your business data.
- Client information is displayed to help you organize and associate recordings with the correct clients.
Data Storage and Security
- All data transmitted between the App and our servers uses industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption.
- Recordings are stored securely on EZcontractPRO servers with access restricted to your account.
- Local recordings on your device are stored in the app's private storage area.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your audio recordings or personal information with third parties, except:
- When required by law or legal process
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of EZcontractPRO or others
- With your explicit consent
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your recordings through your EZcontractPRO account
- Delete recordings from your account
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Revoke microphone permissions at any time through your device settings
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for business use by contractors and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
